HR policy

Below are our internal HR policies for our staff1. Work Schedule:
o The company operates on a 6-day work week, which means employees are expected to work six days out of seven.
o Each workday consists of 9 hours, including 1 hour allocated for lunch and other breaks. This typically means 8 hours of actual work time per day.
2. Attendance and Reporting:
o Employees are required to check in daily using a prescribed format. This could be through a time tracking system, a sign-in sheet, or a digital check-in process.
o For remote work, employees must set their Slack status to "ON" during work hours. This helps maintain transparency and ensures that remote workers are available and responsive during the workday.
3. Leave Policy:
o The company provides 10 public holidays per year. These are typically national or regional holidays, and a separate list detailing these specific days would be provided to employees.
o After completing the probation period, employees are entitled to 10 privileged leaves per year. These are paid leaves that employees can use for personal reasons.
o When requesting privileged leave, employees must apply at least 2 days in advance. This allows for proper planning and work allocation.
4. Probation:
o All new employees start with a 3-month probation period. During this time, their performance and fit within the company are evaluated.
o The policy doesn't specify, but typically, some benefits or rights (like privileged leaves) may not be available during the probation period.
5. Salary:
o Salaries are paid out between the 1st and 5th of each month. This gives employees a clear expectation of when they'll receive their pay.
6. Benefits:
o All company benefits will be applicable only post probation.
Policy Changes:
o The note at the end indicates that this policy may be subject to change. It's a standard clause that allows the company to update policies as needed, with the assurance that employees will be informed of any changes.
